I made this Rose in the traditional Tavel style, vinified to taste like Syrah but happens to be pink. I learned how to do this from a winemaker friend of mine from another famous winegrowing region here in Northern California, whose Rose I admired so much, that I decided to make a similar one myself!! This Rose gets all of its colors, flavors and aromas with zero skin contact time as we whole cluster heavy press the fruit as soon as it comes in from the vineyard. This wine tastes great right now but will also age for a couple of years. Remember to take the time to enjoy family and wine!!
